DENTAL BRIDGES

When you’ve only lost one tooth or at least two teeth in a row, you may consider getting a dental bridge. A number of artificial teeth called pontics will fill the actual gap, but they’ll be held in place by two crowns that have been attached to the abutment teeth adjacent to the space. Note that the abutment teeth will have to be prepared first, meaning small amounts of enamel will be removed so that the crowns will fit.

DENTURES

Possibly the most famous way to replace teeth, dentures have changed a lot over the years, and today they’re made out of very comfortable, beautiful materials that leave your new smile looking and feeling much more natural. When you get full dentures that replace an entire arch of teeth, they’ll remain in place due to natural suction; on the other hand, partial dentures that fit into gaps spread throughout your mouth are instead held in place with metal clasps.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

As dentistry has advanced over the years, it has become clear that while dentures and bridges are perfectly capable of fulfilling the functions of the crowns of your teeth, they can’t do anything to replace the roots that were lost. For that reason, nowadays we offer dental implants as the gold standard of tooth replacement. The titanium posts act as artificial roots that help keep the jaw healthy while also anchoring your new teeth in place.
